Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how AlwaysWager ("AlwaysWager", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you use our website and services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Who We Are and How to Contact Us
AlwaysWager operates the Service at alwayswager.com. For privacy questions or to exercise the rights described in Section 7, contact us at [email protected].
2. What We Collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Account data: email address, display name, profile avatar, and password (stored as a salted Argon2id hash — we never store your password in plain text).
- Chat messages and uploads: the messages you send to the AI and any files or images you upload (e.g., bet-slip screenshots).
- Support communications: emails or messages you send us.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage logs: timestamps of requests, feature usage, AI token consumption, and error events, for billing, capacity, and abuse-prevention purposes.
- Device and network data: IP address, user-agent string, and similar metadata, retained only for security and fraud-prevention purposes.
- Cookies and session tokens: strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to protect the Service against CSRF. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the data described above to:
- Operate, maintain, and secure the Service.
- Authenticate you, provision your subscription tier, and enforce usage caps.
- Send requests to our AI-model provider(s) on your behalf and return the responses to you.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent abuse, fraud, or violations of our Terms of Service.
- Communicate with you about account, security, legal, or service- related matters.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your chat content for advertising or for training our own models.
4. Third-Party Processors
To operate the Service we rely on a small set of vetted processors that act on our behalf:
- AI model provider(s):your prompts and any attached images are sent to the model provider to generate a response. The provider's own privacy terms apply to that transmission.
- Infrastructure: hosting, network edge, and DDoS protection providers that route traffic to the Service.
- Email delivery: a transactional email provider used for account notifications, password credentials, and security alerts.
Each processor is bound by contract to use your data only to deliver the specific function we have engaged them for.
5. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected:
- Account data: for as long as your account exists.
- Chat history and uploads: for the life of your account, unless you delete individual items sooner.
- Usage and security logs: up to 12 months, then anonymized or deleted.
- Billing records: retained for the period required by applicable tax and accounting laws.
When your account is deleted, we perform a hard delete of associated logs, uploaded files, avatars, and conversation history on the platform. Backups that include the deleted data are rotated out within a reasonable period.
6. Security
We apply industry-standard safeguards designed to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), encryption-at-rest for credentials (Argon2id hashing), isolated containers with minimal privileges, rate limiting, and regular security review. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU's GDPR, the UK GDPR, or state privacy laws in the United States such as CCPA/CPRA), you may have the following rights:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Delete your account and personal information.
- Export a copy of your data in a portable format.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority if you believe we have mishandled your information.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request.
8. International Transfers
The Service is hosted on infrastructure that may be located in, or transmitted through, countries other than your own. By using the Service you understand that your data may be processed in those locations, subject to adequate legal protections.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 (or the minimum legal gambling age in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher). If you believe a minor has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be signalled by updating the "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, by a notice sent to your email or shown in the Service.
