Responsible Gambling
Last updated: April 16, 2026
AlwaysWager provides data-driven analysis to people who already choose to bet on sports. Nothing we produce is a guarantee of winning — and no analytical tool, ours included, can remove the risk of losing money. This page explains our commitment to responsible gambling, how to recognize warning signs, and where to get help.
1. Our Commitments
- No bets are placed through AlwaysWager. We are not a sportsbook. We do not hold customer funds and we do not accept, broker, or facilitate wagers.
- We do not target minors. You must be at least 18 years old (or the minimum legal gambling age in your jurisdiction — often 21 in the United States).
- AI output is informational only. Our models can and do make mistakes. Use our suggestions as one input among several, not as advice or a promise of profit.
- We honor account closures quickly. Contact [email protected] to close your account or request deletion at any time. If you ask us to block your return, we will keep a record of your email so we can refuse a future sign-up.
2. Bet Within Your Means
Before betting, decide the maximum amount of money and time you are willing to lose — and stop when you reach either limit. Some simple rules that help:
- Only wager funds set aside as discretionary entertainment, never money needed for rent, food, bills, debt, or your family.
- Set a weekly or monthly budget in advance and check in on yourself.
- Avoid chasing losses. Losses happen to everyone, including users following expert models. Escalating stakes to "win it back" is the single biggest cause of serious gambling harm.
- Do not gamble while drinking, under the influence of other substances, or when emotionally distressed.
- Take regular breaks. Sleep. Keep hobbies and friendships active.
3. Warning Signs
Gambling can become a health problem. It often does so gradually. Stop and seek support if you notice any of the following in yourself or someone close to you:
- Thinking about gambling most of the day.
- Betting more than planned or more than you can afford, especially to recover previous losses.
- Hiding bets, debts, or losses from family, friends, or partners.
- Borrowing money, selling belongings, or using credit to bet.
- Feeling restless, irritable, or depressed when trying to cut back, or continuing to bet despite negative consequences at home, work, or school.
- Missing important events, work, or sleep because of gambling.
Problem gambling is a recognized medical condition and it is treatable. Asking for help is a strength, not a weakness.
4. Tools You Can Use
- Budget first. Set a bankroll before you open any sportsbook and stop when it is gone.
- Cooling-off periods. Most regulated sportsbooks offer 24-hour, 72-hour, and 30-day cooling-off options. Use them the moment you start to feel pressured.
- Self-exclusion.If betting has become harmful, enroll in a self-exclusion program with your sportsbook or with your state/regulator's multi-operator exclusion list. This blocks you from reopening accounts during the exclusion period.
- Account closure on AlwaysWager. Email [email protected] and we will delete your account and data.
- Speak to someone. Contact one of the help lines below — they are free, confidential, and available 24/7.

6. If You Want to Stop Using AlwaysWager
You can cancel your subscription or close your account at any time by emailing [email protected] from the address registered on your account. We will confirm and, upon closure, delete your account data as described in our Privacy Policy. If you ask us to permanently block future sign-ups from your email, we will keep a minimal record of that request so we can honor it.
7. A Final Reminder
Even the best analysis cannot predict a specific game, and every wager involves real risk. If you are betting to escape problems or to make money you do not have, please pause and contact one of the resources above. Your health and the people who depend on you matter far more than any individual bet.
